“ Just go here. It’s everything I wanted from a Mexican lunch stall. The main guy, not sure how to spell it, sounds like tomyum (like the Thai soup) or maybe Damien, was amazing. Food was amazing. They basically have meats grilling throughout the day, and then when you walk in they run out to the local market, which is like a farmers market around the corner, to grab all the fresh ingredients and then to the tortilla maker across the street for fresh tortillas. We ate here two days in a row. If you are looking for cheap, local, delicious fare, this is it ”
“ Found this place by accident as we were actually about to eat somewhere else! We followed our nose to the front and then were easily persuaded to have a seat after a sample of the ribs (so kind!) The food was delicious! A mixed plate of meats, tortillas, salsas everything you could want for a really reasonable price (250 pesos). Definitely recommend ”
“ It's not exaggerated to say that when I ate at Don Gato's, I had the best bbq chicken I ever had in my life, and besides that I had the pleasure to get some very delicious fruit juices to accompany the great food. The place is an authentic Mexican place, run by Damian, a very talented guy and many members of his family are involved too (the fruit juices are prepared by his mother). They are very friendly and cheerful, it was so nice to experience a lunch there and exchange a few words in Spanish! If you get the chance to eat there, don't hesitate! ”
